Well just feel the need to right this down somewhere, but last night i had the most vivid and yet beautiful dream, and i simply can't understand that whole 'we don't dream in colour thing!' because i do, i still have the images in my mind now i managed to retain them before they all drifted away as they usually do.
I was just surprised because a whole group of things came together in my head to make something rather unique. I mean i would never have thought of a cave/building that is only accessible once every 5 years due to a stream being diverted away over nearby fields. And having a big party in the said building that is starting to erode due to the streams normal flow and have very interesting angles and smooth surfaces forming, and drips falling from the ceiling. Anyway it moved on from there into all sorts of tangents. But yeah very funky i want to remember that one....

8:41 pm - Exercise
|
Okay i started again with exercise yesterday, and i have so far managed to do 2 days of a run/walk in the morning in a row, and my legs feel like someone has driven a steamroller over them!
I have always been a fairly sporty person, but i gained a bit of weight and stoped doing pretty much any exercise except from the odd walk when i got severe depression. And i figure that since i'm better it's time to get back on the horse, so to speak. So sore butt it is. I figure though i don't like running much i's a good way to get fit and it's cheap and you can do it anywhere. That and my dog now loves me ever more than before for going on fast walks.

Well this weekend has just flown by, with nothing much accomplished. Chated to a few people, watched the First Lions game (rugby), slept. Got a nasty headache thing so spent most of today in bed. Very happy i don't have to work tomorrow and i can spend more time just hanging out. Sometimes i just feel like being lazy.

So i got a job as a temp, today was my first day, and it's actually pretty cool job, i'm the front desk receptionist for a salt production and refining company. There are huge piles of salt just behind the offices. Anyway, not nearly as tired as i thought i would be today. Maybe after a full week i will be a bit exhausted. But i don't have a full five days until the week afer next because this monday is a holiday! Huzzah! It's queens birthday weekend, not that it's actually the queens birthday but hey who cares!
though this does mean that cause i'm temping i won't get a paid monday off :( but oh well....

I have nothing else to do, so i'm gonna pollute live journal with my bored ramblings. I'm liking that the time stamps are actually my time!
I probably have all sorts of bit's and pieces that i could be doing right now, but i just don't feel like it. So funny to read through all the Worlds Enders entries in my friends section and have Neils blogs scattered through too! like he has secretly joined the pack.
Oh and i got a job for the next few weeks, just temp work, i'm still trying to get a job that is in some way related to my degrees. It will hopefully happen someday. But right now i could use the money - my car has died, i need to buy myself a laptop, i need to renew my passports, i need to save up for bond to move back into a flat up in Auckland and i need to save for my travels next year. Why can't i just win a lottery? oh thats right i would need to actually buy a ticket....

Hello empty world, i have decided to actually use my livejournal account (before i had just registered to make sure i bagsed my username, and no other evil person got to steal my halucinagenia - like they managed to do on AIM).
This is mainly just so i can be nosey and read everyone else's journals, as i haven't ventured out of the xanga blogs very often before. I feel i am neglecting news from the other side (plus i like alinda's and cd's blogs and i get to read them both easily now).
And i just want to say: the formatting on LJ sucks! *looks round carefully* am i gonna get evicted for saying that? Well Xanga is a hell of a lot easier to use, but i will try my best to make this look pretty.
Oh and i like the mood function! oh and a spell checker......
